AIMS & OBJECTIVES

  1. The group is known as the "Friends of Sloan's House" the management of which will be administered by the Sloan's House Management Committee.

                                                             

  2. The aim is to preserve, present and promote the historical artefacts that are on display in the museum at Main Street, Loughgall.

     

  3. Membership of the group will be open to all who have an interest in the museum and interpretative centre; accordingly, it will be open to members and non-members of the Orange Institution.

     

  4. The initial membership rate is 17.95 pounds stg. for the first year, with an annual subscription thereafter.

     

  5. Membership is on an individual basis and will entitle the holder to free admission to the museum; a membership certificate and lapel badge; a commemorative postcard; regular newsletter and other souvenir items, at a reduced rate, as they are developed.

     

  6. The Annual General Meeting of "Friends of Sloan's House" is held on or about 21st September, the anniversary of the Battle of the Diamond.

     

  7. Friends are encouraged to support fundraising events, publicity and the acquirement of artefacts for the museum and interpretive centre.
